Hello,

I've had either D* or E* for the past 10 years, so I am familiar with rain fade in all it's variants. However, I just started having a strange problem with the signal dropping out in the rain... it doesn't fade out.. it does a sudden and complete nosedrop from 90s to 0. When it recovers, same story, from 0 back to 90s.

What do you think? Water getting in a connection somewhere shorting something out?

It could be water getting in a connection. If that is the case then the connections need sealed on the outside. Do you notice the signal out for a certain period of time after the rain has ended?
