Anyone have any idea if and when this dispute will be settled? I am a great America's Cup Fan. The final races for the Cup (which is the oldest in sport's history) will begin in 2007 and are the property of OLN in the USA.

I do not see this channel coming back soon. Remember when SPEED was removed from Dish Network a while back and was gone for a while? This could be the same scenario or maybe worse, permanent removal. That might not be worse depending on who you ask lol.

If Dish Network does not see much subscriber loss as a result of the OLN loss then OLN would probably have to give Dish Network the same deal or better than the last time (probalby better) to get back on since Dish says that they added other channels to take its place.

It looks like OLN is partnering with INHD to broadcast 1 game a week in HD.

It's not a full 24/7 HD channel, but the HD games are on a feed that cable carries on INHD and DirecTV puts up on a channel in the 90s....

So as far as E* is concerned, there is no OLN-HD. The OLN channel is in SD, and E* does not carry INHD.

So even if E* and OLN work things out, there still will be no OLN HD out of it.
nooooo they will probably just add another NBA HD type channel that is only active when there is HD programming!!!

OLN and who owns them???

Doesn't Comcast own OLN? So if that is the case, why do they want their competion to carry that channel? :no
