To Iceberg and Pete....... :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

my FTA setup is working like a treat! Thanks to you guys.
It's the one with a Fortec Lifetime Ultra and the Star Choice (beer cans)

My question is:

I get a low (50% and lower) quality on the 11720 TP so I can only see those channels when the sky is clear.
I get nothing form the 3992, 4100, 4180 TPs

Am I missing a setting? or do I need something else to get those TPs

Once again, thanks :D

KU channels use a 5 digit Frequency the 4 digit frequencies are C-Band (Big dish 6-10')

Two more things

I forgot to mention that the 11800 TP comes in clear at 76% almost steady.
Also, I have an old oval dual LNB DirectTV dish. Is it good for anything FTA?

Thanks :)

Sounds like time for a new LNB, half the TP are strong and the others are weak on G10R......
Yes you can use a DBS LNB for some radio channels and Nasa and GOL TV.

Bigger dish :D

Seriously though, the issue is right next door (Dish 121), there is an 11724 frequency that seems to overpower the one on G10.

I know bigger dish would help
I have a 30" and the signal is about a 30…I have a 36" dish and its at 45
On both, 11799 frequency is 75-76 solid :D

There are newer low noise figure LNB's available but as the "Berg" said a bigger dish would be the best upgrade......
