Hi, I'm kind of new to this satellite deal, I'm planning on getting FTA, is there any way to get PAS 9 and Hispasat 1D, from conus. I'm in zip 33033, is so what will I need as far as receiver, dish or what? Thanks for the help...

Here are the angles to ALL the satellites from your area.

For the Pas 9 satellite you will need a Universal LNBF linke the Invacom SNH-031

Any of the receivers in our review area will work, I like the Fortec Classic NA.

As for a dish I use a 36" dish and have no problems with the satellites you mentioned!

Any of the receivers in our review area will work, I like the Fortec Classic NA.
As for a dish I use a 36" dish and have no problems with the satellites you mentioned!

Does the Universal LNBF only work on the small dishes?

I've got a c-band bud and will be putting in a corotor II in the future and I've seen the universal LNBF mentioned in other areas. Is there something similar I should be looking at?

PSB thanks, again, for you quick responce, is there a list that show the channel I can get for free, I went to this link lyngsat.com/pas9.html, and there is a big list of channels, will I be getting all those channels or which ones will I get?

Mainly the ones with a big red F.
With the above system you will get the channels with a 5 digit frequency.
The channels with a 4 digit frequency are C-Band and would require at least a 6' dish and C-Band LNBF.
Always check the far right column for each channel where is says BEAM or Footprint to make sure you are within the footprint, the broadcasting area.
Have a look at the below link for more help in reading the charts.
http://www.dmsiusa.com/charts.htm

All the angles to the satellites are above. You will NEED a compass.

eg. Without a motor to point at Pas 9......

Sat Name / Sat Lng / Az(t) / Az(m) / El / Skew
Pas 9 / 58.0W / 136 / 142 / 51 / -39

You may need a local compay to do the install if so check here under installers dealers...
