Most of the time you are lucky to find one or two analog signals on Anik F1 and Anik F2 - tonight they are both lit up like Christmas trees due to the election coverage, so if you have an analog receiver and haven't been able to peak it properly on one of the birds (or polarities), tonight is a great night to do it!

I am guessing Motorola receiver + Starchoice bird = Trouble ??, like maybe a software download ??

Pretty much yes... the 4dtv will download the star choice maps and overflow the memory, just never program a Ku generic or regular satellite on the Star choice position, C-band in not affected though.

Ottawa Senators games have been on F2, TP 2 or 8 C Band just about every Tuesday and Thursday nights. That's how I zeroed F2 in. Kinda of becoming a Senators fan, since it's basically the only free game in town.

Thanks for the tip, I would have no doubt did exactly what you said not to do here :(
