i do hate the 108 or whatever per day they get...it's nuts and need a salary cut...if CA has fewer people why can't we?

and i have no fears that we will ever have slots in the minimarkets..PA could never get their act together that much

Let me say this about Gambeling.

In Detroit they tried to pass Casino Gambeling for years. All the consumer Advocate groups made a big stink over it and they could never get voters to approve it.

So several years ago the Canadians opened up their Casino just a few minutes from the Tunnel and Bridge. The Casino was a success and they made tons of money.

Finally someone got wise and figured that over 1 million dollars per day was going accross our border from Detroit to Canada. Needless to say they had a vote on it and the Gambeling passed!!!

Right now they got what they call "Temporary Casinos" running now. Eventually the idea is to have 3 las vegas style casinos on the river front!

Noooooooooooooooooo

Just like everything else in PA they will screw it up and if it manages to make money you can bet we the people wont see it.
