OK, so I added Playboy TV last week through the website. The price was listed as $14.99, but the fine print said something like "package discounts will be applied automatically if applicable." I was curious what would happen since some sources (not DISH's site though) have said Playboy was now being treated like a regular premium.
Today, I took a look at my online "recent activity". It showed the following...
AMERICA'S EVERYTHING 03/01 TO 03/23 -66.74
AMERICA'S EVERYTHING PAK 03/01 TO 03/23 71.93
If you do the math, 66.74 divided by 23 days times 31 days = 89.95
and 71.93 / 23 X 31 = 96.95
Note that the word "Pak" is missing from the first entry.
Looks to me Playboy is $7 extra as long as you have everything else. Pretty good deal, considering the evening movies are similar to TEN PPV at $11. Watch one movie a month and you're ahead. I hope this carries over to the HD Platnum when I upgrade.
