All i have is a cell and i have been on hold for over 25min. Thought someone on here had access to check. also i think all thats needed is th R00 since the smartcard is built in.

nope. You still need the S # or they can't do it. I tried that with a 811 (which has the card built in)

I've seen a couple posts where people check that it is clear and then when they go to activate it they are told it has a balance.

No balance owed on that rec(622) but lts leased cant be activated
