Anyone heard that when you mount two dishes on one pole that the dish on the bottom will strike the pole when you tilt it to get your elevation? I was going to do a pole mount using two dishes, 72.5w on top and 101w on the bottom.

i have never heard of this and install all the time you should be ok with this

Depends on the elevation. Around here the 72.5 dish sits at 35 elevation... doesnt touch the pole at all.

Bottom dish must be on a mast.It will not work the way you are trying you can not slide the dish down the pole then put the second on top.Just use 2 U clamps to mount the mast to the pole for the lower dish.
