I'm looking at getting satellite radio. I like Sirius's content better, but I want a receiver unit that is very portable that I can use as a walkman, plug into a home stereo, or plug into a car stereo (ie something like MyFi for XM), but it doesn't seem like there's much out there right now. Someone mentioned the Xact ReGo, but I haven't seen too many reviews on it. Does anyone know much about this unit, or know of anything else on the market that is pretty portable for Sirius?

The much talked about Xact ReGo has not hit the store shelves yet and I don't know when it will. Sirius' generation 3 hardware will be reveiwed by the media on August 25th in NYC. I suspect will have more definitive news then. I also suspect we will hear or see some new and exciting Sirius products.

How come all these satellite receiver boomboxes don't come with a cd/mp3 player? I can understand not including a regular radio tuner, but why no disc drive? To say satellite radio is replacing the cd (and mp3 cd, especially) is grossly inaccurate...

I won't buy one until it comes with a CD drive...
