Position of LNB in bracket

Where should the LNB be placed in bracket. Have read in a couple of different places it should be positioned in middle and some others say it should be positioned as far back as it will go, so the head is tight against bracket Whats right? Also does the position have any affect on fine tunning sat. signal.
 
move it in and out to get the best signal. Also, skew is a variable thing too since it's not exactly mounted. you have to tinker...
 
You can try a degree either way to see what it does to your signal. I set my old motor up for optimum signal on G10R and I ended up twisting it about 2* CW from dead 0. The other new motor is spot on 0. so it depends on the dish and LNB's manufacturing tolerances.
