I live in in Dallas and when the ice storm was coming, I hunkered down 3 hours away in College Station, TX with my family who also have DTV.
I brought my HR20-700 with me (I'm staying with them a couple of weeks) and I hooked it up and was getting the DFW SD & HD channels just fine. This evening, the HD channels disappeared - getting the 771 message. The standard def locals are coming in just fine.

There is a bit of ice build up going on - rain, freezing rain & sleet hasn't really stopped in the last 24 hours. Everything else has a nice coat of ice & some impressive icicle's so I assume the dish does as well (5 lnb). Could this be what's causing it? I know DFW HD is on 103 (about all I know though) and probably spot beamed - maybe College Station is on the edge of the beam and the bad weather & ice masked it out? I didn't check the signal meters when I initially plugged it in because it worked. But checking now, there is no signal for 103.

I'm just confused because they were there earlier and no other channels are affected.

Any thoughts?
