Hello. I just moved to a new house and a Bright House tech set everything up on Monday. Everything has been great until this evening.
Now, a lot of channels such as Food Network, National Geographic, Discovery Health, etc pixelate really badly at random intervals and the sound stutters. This is making some channels unwatchable. This isn't constant, it may work fine for a few minutes and then the pixelation begins again.
However, the "networks" such as NBC, CBS, FOX, etc, all come through OK.
I called Customer Service, the first lady had me restart the box and everything seemed OK so we ended the call. A couple of minutes later the problem started again, so I called back. Once again we went through the reboot dance and then the lady said that someone will have to come check the wiring.
Of course since I work "regular" hours, the only time I can meet a technician is this Saturday, which means that if this problem continues, I'm stuck with poor picture quality tonight, Thursday and Friday.
Does anyone have any suggestions of something I could do on my end or have them do over the phone? Again, the networks come through OK, it's the others that pixelate.
Thanks!
