Does it matter which one i have my dish pointed at? There is a channel on 61.5 that i would like to get and since the same HD content is on 129 and 61.5 would it matter? my locals are on 110 so the only thing i have on 129 is my HD content.

As long as you have a clear line of site it should not matter. I have both, and the signal is much stronger on 61.5 (even in CA).

yeah..i wonder if i can get it tho..what kind of Dish do you have? and Im located in Dallas, TX if that makes a difference..

61.5° has the Dish HD Demo Channel 129° does not. After the first 20 minutes you'll have seen everything unless you REALLY want to watch the HD Fishtank channel every night. :)

61.5° has 6 "Free Public interest Pack" Standard Def channels which are part of AT100 and DL2 and higher that 129° does not have.

652 KBS World (Korean Broadcasting System)
9402 US Dept of Health & Human Services TV
9405 The Pentagon Channel
9406 Classic Arts Showcase
9416 Good Samaritan Network
9418 Panhandle Area Educational Consortium

On the other hand, 110/119/129 can be done with one dish. 61.5/110/119 requires two dishes.

See ya
