Question regarding AT&T?

How does the Taylor Swift Now channel work on AT&T TV, is it a linear channel or just an app.
Also why are some subchannels like Heroes and Icons on AT&T but not Directv? Are the available nationally or just in some places?

Uverse, like cable, may carry more local sub channel than DirecTV does, as when those decisions were made they were separate companies. DirecTV spot beams local channels and has pretty tight bandwidth and to date has not invested in carrying sub channels in most situations.

The Taylor Swift content is on demand content on DirecTV channel 1113.

Around here Cox and Comcast carry most if not all of the subchannels like LAFF, they even have CSPAN3.
