I just got a dvr510 tonight from a friend. I didn't know if there was any way for that receiver to run two tv's? If there is not, I will probably sell it and just upgrade to dvr through dish network. They are telling me it's 100 to upgrade plus 5 bucks a month since I'll be removing my existing receiver from my account. They also told me there is a 99 dollar install fee if they ship me a receiver, what!! I can plug it in myself!!

Any thoughts from anyone would be appreciated, thanks!

Ok, I've read through some posts, so I know you can't run two tv's off of a 510, so I'm going to sell this 510 on ebay and get a dual tuner dvr from dish network for the extra 5 bucks a month.

I guess my question now is is there any way for dish to waive the 99 dollar install fee to ship me the new dvr, that seems a little steep to plug something in?

Sounds like you're getting a dual-tuner (522 or 625) DVR. It is typically NOT just a plug-in, bcause you need to get signal to the second tuner, so it's either more cable, or a LNB/switch swapout.

Pay the $99.
