R.I.P. Thomas Herrion - 49ers Left Guard

San Francisco 49er's 3rd string Left Guard Thomas Herrion collapsed following a speech by Head Coach Mike Nolan after their loss to the Denver Broncos on saturday night.

Medics were unable to revive him at the hospital. Cause of death is speculative at this point. ESPN has footage of him leaving the field at the end of the game (He played in the final drive), didn't seem to be terribly distressed for a 310lb man, but obviously he was.

Wow, and he was only 23. That's awful......I wonder if he had some sort of heart condition nobody knew about.
