I talked with a guy in local RS yesterday that is 46 miles from the Chicago towers. He said he is receiving all HD signals very well with the 15-2185.

Has anyone else used this antenna for HD signals and if so, how well did it work for you?

I also am considering the Winegard GS2000a.....anyone had any luck with it frmo 45.5 miles out?

I am 45.5 miles from towers, a bit south from where the RS guys lives.

Thank You,
Brad

I have two of the 2160's myself (long story) - and I use (one) of them to recieve my locals - and it works perfectly. I am 10 miles from the transmitters.

However!!! IF I turn the antenna around and aim it for Tucson (120 miles from me) I am able to get their NBC/ABC/FOX/CBS stations (plus 2 others) in HD @ A 40% signal strength. (its "fairly flat" between the cities - with some mountains)

i use a 13ft off air ant.. the kind you see at farm houses. and im 35 miles south... i get all of my signals in a 90 % range.. with the exception... of cbs channel 3 digital... (cant get that sucker to pop in what so ever) 45% on my 811 accrost the board

What do I need for HD in Bloomington Indiana
