Random white dots on cinema10

does anyone else see a white dot that pop up on the screen at random places and go away in a second? this happens a lot on cinema1-10 and monster. May happen on other channels too but the movie channels have lots of dark scenes so the white dot is more noticeable.

No, no, this is not "stuck pixels" if it goes away in a second.
barth2k, is this over DVI? could you try switching to component to see if the problem is still there?

Do you see this on all channels, or just on some select ones?
How about OTA? Does it happen on OTA channels too?

nope not ota. maybe they're there on the other channels too but programs on dischd etc. tend to be bright so I may not notice it.

once when I saw the white dot, I switched to tivo (sd of course) and rewound and yup it was there. so it unlikely an issue with the input or cables.

i'm surprised no one else sees this. maybe everyone just assumes it's poor film transfer or bad print? i see this on ALL the cinemas, incl. monsterhd
