I bought some RapidRun cables, thinking it would make it easier for me to run component cables between rooms through my floor. I just received the cables yesterday and now am wondering if I can remove the metal pieces from the ends of the coax cable, or will that damage something? If I can't remove the metal pieces, I'm going to have to drill some fairly big holes to fit the cable through.
