We are trying to re-align our dish and are running into a problem. Per the 1000.4 manual we are aligning Tuner 1 on 119, Transponder 10. The max signal we can get is 30. We can run a Check Switch with no errors. When we cancel out of the Check Switch, Receiver 1 is on 110 and says Wrong Sat - 119 on the status bar. When we try to watch any channel we get either complete or partial signal loss with error code 11-11-11. We think our problem is whatever magic changes Tuner 1 from 119 to 110. How do we keep Tuner 1 on 119? Thanks!
PS Whoever maintains the local channels satellite/transponder info, the data for Wausau, WI is missing.

You don't. The tuners can see all satellites at any particular time because the database in the tuner tells the receiver which channel is on what satellite - in aligning the dish tuners are irrelevant.

If you are zeroing in on the 119 satellite simply select a channel that comes from the 119 satellite (press menu-menu to see which satellite your current channel comes from).

IIRC you don't cancel out of check switch, let it finish and see the results - that may have been what you did.

It sounds like your dish may be pointed about 8-10 degrees too far west, so the 110 lnb is seeing the 119 satellite.

Cover both of the outer lnbs with aluminum foil so only the middle 119 lnb is receiving signal then move the dish counter-clockwise 8-10 degrees to find 119.

After doing proper gross alignment you can tweak the satellite to get peak signal by making minute adjustments in azimuth and elevation.
