Recorded PPV were there at one time but now gone

The number of movies I had recorded on the 722 and external drive didn't look right. I thought between the 2 I had almost 100, but it seems that movies I had not watched are gone, but I wasn't sure what was gone or how many. Most of the movies were PPV but there were probably some that where HBO or Showtime.

I looked at my bills to see what PPV I purchased in 2008 and looked at my receiver to try and match for those I'm pretty sure I didn't watch.

I have concluded that movies are disappearing on their own. These are not movies with that must watch by date. Not all movies disappear. I have several that have been there for more than 1 1/2 years and I hadn't watched yet and are still on the box or ext drive.

So have others encountered this? Anyone figure out what happened?

if you look at info on the ppv channels, they now have limited time that you can view before they are dropped

I have been keeping an excel spread sheet of everything I have on the ehd, I started including whatt is on the dvr, wont help much if they disappear, but at least I know what is missing

these don't have view by dates

The movies that I believe I had purchased didn't have any watch by dates. Also, for example a couple months ago, I did have the movie 21 recorded and I had not started it by the allowed watch by date. It didn't disappear, I just could no longer watch it.

I had be curious if others had noticed their movies disappeared from either the internal or external drives.
