"Reflector" needed for Stars & Stripes package?

I was told by a CSR that I reed to have an installer add a "reflector" in order to receive the channels in the Stars & Stripes package. I already have a dish pointing at 110, 119 & 129.

What does this "reflector" do?

It's the dish itself which reflects and focuses the satellite signal back into the LNBF. I think the Stars and Stripes package is available from either arc, so you should be good with the western arc satellites.

Problem solved: Dish thought I had a Dish 500 setup, and the CSR wouldn't take my word for it that I already receive all three western arc birds. And if I tried to cancel the installer, the Stars & Stripes add-on would be automatically cancelled as well. Resolved it with a supervisor on a second phone call.

Before I was too old to go up on the roof, I did my own configurations. Even had a side dish pointing at the148 orbital location for a while to get some Los Angeles locals.
