Remote code to operate R15

I am trying to find the remote code(s) needed to operate my R15-500 with a universal remote. So far I have only been able to find 01377, which I understand offers only partial functionality.

Is this the best one can do if using a non-programmable universal remote?

code 01377 is only for UEI made remotes, like from radio shack or One-For-All. If you do have a UEI made remote, you might be able to add missing commands through the use of advanced codes like these:

00075-Active
00008-Red
00024-Green
00032-Yellow
00240-Blue
00019-Menu
00123-Advance
00131-Replay
00251-Back
00099-List

To map them to keys on your UEI remote:

1. sat
2. press and hold P/SET for two blinks
3. enter 9 9 4
4. tap P/SET for one blink
5. enter 5 digit advanced code
6. pick an unused key
