Remove Hard Drive from 510...

Is it feasible to remove the hard drive from a 510 that I just retired and use it with this

Thermaltake BlacX USB Docking Station

and hook it up to my new 722 via USB?

If so would the DVR material I have stored on it still be recognized, or would it have to be re-formatted?

The drive in the 510 isa IDE drive, if your Docking station is also IDE, it will work. I have the SATA version - works great.

The 722 will reformat the entire drive wiping out all info on there.

Is the IDE Drive in the 510 a 2.5 or a 3.5? I'm looking to get the appropriate docking station.
