I'm thinking of cancelling my DN service and going back to cable. I know I'll have to send my receivers back. Am I responsible for the dish itself-- removing it and making sure there are no holes in my roof, etc.? I'm not crazy about heights. Thanks.

Tell them it is a hardship for you to get up on the roof and if they want them back, they will have to send someone out to remove them. Then they will most likely tell you never mind.

they don't care about the dish but they do care about the receivers and LNB's. LNB are those things that have white caps on them and facing the dish.
