samsung tv input input quit working

i have a 2 year old 52" samsung lcd tv and as of yesterday i get no charter cable tv when input is set to tv.my dishnetwork and fta box work on the other inputs,i took the cable off the back of the tv and tried it on another tv and it was fine.using my remote i go to source then tv and nothing but black screen.any ideas?
