Should I demand an HR24 box with new install?

I am having D* installed friday. I have heard that I may not get the latest & greatest in equipment, which I understand is the HR24. Should I demand this prior to the install?

you may not get it
i requested it when i ordered, and told them i would refuse install if it was not an hr24
thye did show up with one

you can always refuse and reshedule, its not nice to the tech, but you can do it
call back and have them put it on your ticket, it doesnt matter much, but then the tech will know

Yeah.....I did just that. I told them I would refuse the install if there is no HR24. I am not starting a 2yr agreement with old equipment,

Supposedly the chances of getting a HR24 are greater if you are getting Whole House DVR Service at the same time, as it doesn't require an external DECA. If you want internet access (for On Demand, Netflix, etc.) also request the Cinema Connection Kit with your order.
