Signal loss in heavy rain/snow

Looking for a cover to reduce signal loss in heavy rain/snow.Nothing on Dish Network on covers.I have a dish Network HD dish with three lnbs on satellites around 60 degrees west.

Cover might help with snow but not heavy rain. That is atmospherical interference with the transmission of the sat signal.

Those covers look like hell. Keep it simple and just try Rain-X first. It works for me to keep the snow off.

another person had said.. Spraying the dish with WD40 works great. It has snowed once in the last 40 years here.. So I wouldn't know...LOL

Covers won't help in heavy rain or snow. The signal is lost tween sat and your dish. Now waxing your dish in some way will keep it from having snow and ice stick to the dish and cause problems.

In my experience, heavy falling rain or snow will interfere with the signal no matter what you do. Now, snow sticking to the dish can be cleared, if you can get to the dish. I have cleared mine of snow with a garden hose to melt the snow off the dish.

You don't say where you live. Most snow will not bother a dish. It's only heavey wet snow. Here in upstate NY we only get that a couple of times a year. Most snow just blows off the dish.

Please do not use WD40 on your dish. That will make it sticky and dust and dirt will adhere to the dish making the snow stick to the dish even worse.

Depending on how far off the group your dish is, a recommendation is get a super soaker and hit the dish with hot water.
