I have a single line running to an RCA DTV receiver. I ran this line (from wall jack) to the VCR, out from the VCR to an RF modulator (i have a dvd player also run to the modulator using RCA jacks), from the modulator to the tv (1 RG6 input jack only as its an older tv.
Now I want to supply a third story bedroom with this signal. I have all the RG6 cables ending at a central point (homeruns.) It is impossible at this point to run more cable lines in or out of the house. Can i use a diplexer??? How does this work??? Can anyone explain this or give me a diagram??? HELP PLEASE!!!! The wife is not happy with me, I promised her I could deliver the goods. Thanks to anyone that can help

Claud i see this was your 1st post ! Welcome to www.satelliteguys.us

If you are wanting your second tv to work off the same receiver you need to add a splitter in the rg6 line from the receiver at the 1st tv / go out of the splitter into tv 1 and out the other side of the splitter to tv2. This will of course only enable you to view the same channel on both sets.

here, i whipped up a technical diagram for ya, lol
