Anyone know where I can get a replacement car antenna for the
Sirius Orbiter that I got as an Xmas present? The unit is from
Radio shack, but of corse they want you to buy a whole new unit.

I'm not real familiar with the orbiter, but don't all the Sirius radios pretty much use the exact same antenna? I know when I was installing my wife's XM radio I cut the antenna wire and I just went to Circuit City and bought an XM car antenna it wasn't radio specific. You should be able to pick on up a sirius antenna at Circuity City, Best buy etc..

I have the jvc pnp... My Car antenna went bad so I used my home antenna on my dash (04 F-150 has a perfect square spot on dash... I accidently jerked the wire out of antenna and Jb welded... it worked, but being the dumb a**:D I am I thought this was not good enough and soldered... big mistake .... I Repaired the Car antenna needless to say...

Been there Done that (or at least tried to)

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunatly, the POC that I got from
radio shack has a different size antenna plug on the home unit than it does
on the car unit. To make matters worse, I had to go to radio shack
this weekend to get an odd size battery for my car key alarm unit,
and just found out that they don't even sell the Orbiter any more.
I also was at my local Fry's (don't trust the rebates) Electronics,
and they had an antenna for a Terk radio that looked like it might
fit, but it had a blocky looking green gizmo surrounding the actual
plug. I didn't know if the green thing would come off or not so I
didn't take any chances......

Still looking......
