I bought Sirius Streamer for our 3 story building. Antenna is on the roof. Receiver is in an office on the 3rd floor. Want to send audio output through existing cat5 jack down to a room on the 1st floor, then connect to a mono jack to a tel system which pipes music into the phone system.

I've seen audio to cat5 adapters on the net but unsure whether they would work for this application.

Barring anything easy over cat5, I'm left to running some sort of speaker wire 200 feet down airway chase to 1st floor, with a tuner in the middle to amplify.

Any ideas?

How about a network sharable media center that you can connect sources to and install it in your IT room. Add the sirius audio, put the media center on the network.
