Kenwood, Antex, Audiovox Provide Equipment

Sirius announced the retail availability of a suite of home units available from Kenwood, Antex Electronics and Audiovox.

Sirius satellite radio is available in the following home-based hardware models:

*Kenwood DT-7000S

The Kenwood DT-7000S (retails for $299) features an easy-to-read four-line scrolling display, a "song-seek" element allowing listeners to browse what is playing on other streams, and a "memo" feature allowing listeners to bookmark song titles and artist information.

*Antex SRX-3 TriplePlay

Designed for use in multi-room, multi-zone audio systems, the three-zone receiver consolidates multiple tuners into a single component allowing listeners in different rooms to play different Sirius streams simultaneously over a single distributed audio system. The first multi-zone unit for satellite radio retails for $1,999 and is provided Antex Electronics. The system features a graphical LCD, backlit display and 10 music presets for each zone.

*Audiovox CE-1000SR

The Audiovox CE-1000SR is available at retailers for $249.95. The units design features a LCD display with multiple-user presets, a user menu with stream add or skip, parental controls, a memory capture feature and RS232 control port.
