Does Sky Mexico use a Universal LNB? (or is it in any way special?)
I have a feeling this is not a big secret (other than to me), but I've searched the forum and only run across one actual discussion on the subject.
(it suggested Universal)
This PDF found on the Invacom site wasn't very satisfactory, either.
(it implied Standard)
A Google search turned up a discussion on DBStalk about getting the paid service in the northern USA.
It didn't focus on the LNB, but did suggest it was a common one.
(either Universal or Standard, but not special)
Reason I ask, is because I ran across their LNB for $7 on IvyStonePlace site, and wondered why it was so cheap?
If you click the picture, and look at the enlarged image, the info on the box is straight Universal (I think).
...and I believe the LO of the DirecTV Brazil LNB is non-standard... so I was just concerned.
Searching on "Starpro DVB321-3", just took me back to the same place.
Oh, I should have looked at Lyngsat first....Pas 9 @ 58ºW
...seems okay, to the untrained eye...
