I bought a Slimline dish with a sl3k4r0-01 LNB for my RV. The LNB has four coax hookups. My home dish is a SWM with one coax hookup. So the question is, how do I hook up the sl3k4r0-01 LNB? Is it as simple as getting a 4-1 multiswitch?

I appreciate any help,

:welcome to Satelliteguys!

You can't. The lnb you have is a standard ka/ku type. You have to use a swm type with an H25. They have a one line output.

You'll need a SWM SL3 and a 21v Power Inserter (PI). Connect PI ODU to LNB and PI IRD to your H25.

You want this. The price is a tad high but I didn't look hard. The splitter is not needed for one box but you may add another in the future,

Looks like pickings are slim. I'd jump on this or the one that throws in a Slimline too.

Save $10.

True that SWM is ideal for the road, but if he already has the legacy LNB, this might be cheaper.
Believe it or not, the two options listed by schenid are less expensive than getting the SWM 8 switch and a power supply. Moreover, you want a simpler package for RV use. It would be a real pain to have to deal with all those wires on every setup.

On edit, I see schenid posted another listing for a switch. You guys in stick houses think of permanent mountings. The OP wants something for his RV. This means setup and tear-down on each stop. Simpler is better. A separate switch would just be a real headache.

I bought two of these to add dedicated Sat connections.

Only need one as i am now SWM. i do carry the old non-SWM SL3 and BBC's in case of failure. I lucky as my DVR is located in a cabinet on the inside wall. The PI is mounted to the wall in a storage compartment behind the entry wall. The PI, DVR, and TV share a powerstrip so they all off when not in use.

Off topic again, but I fed a second set via an HDMI splitter at the same location. Didn't want to drag along two boxes.
