My analog reciever finally showed. Its a Panasonic PS-700EX w/built in Dolby Surround decoding (not prologic, but the old matrix system)

Now, obviously, I am not going to use the built in sound system, but it has a audio out, which will be used instead....

Now, back to my point, I am confused as to how to slave this off of my frankenciever...

I have two IF ins, one labeled Ku(V) and another labeled C(H), now, I am sure that not all analog Kus are vertical, and not all C band signals are horizontal, so I am at a loss..

Also, there seems to be a VCR In.. I am thinking I can pass my frankenciever baseband video thru this, so I dont eat up two inputs on the TV....

I am thinking.. antenna to IF in on Frank, then IF out on frank to Ku(V) on analog.. then video out from frank to VCR in on analog, and monitor out on analog tv.. is this right?

I also assume that I will have to do polarity switching with Frank?

Last thing.. how will an analog reciever react to a universal lnb? or should I dedicate a standard 10750 to it?

go from the loop out of the digital receiver to the KU in on the receiver.

This is just like my Uniden (or should I say Cascade's Uniden) :)

You can set it up in the menu for a couple options
C or KU only
H or V only (some old setups had 2 lines coming in)

Just go in the setup and change the C and KU LNB to "Single" then you'll be OK :)
