We've been using the Sling Adapter heavily in the past few days, after having used it lightly for the past 3 weeks. As of today's heaviest use, our UHF 6.3 Remoter (labeled #2) has stopped functioning. On the "System Info" screen the icon blinks away when buttons are pushed, showing that the reciever is getting the signal from the remote, but none of the buttons actually execute thier functions on the box. The universal functions DO still work (turning up the volume on the TV, for instance). Nothing else has changed in our setup.

HOWEVER, the remote WILL work when we switch our 722 to Single Mode, away from the Dual Mode we've always used.

Anyone know why this happened today? Does using the Sling Adapter restrict the remote to only functioning when in Single Mode?

Weird.

I have a 722 in dual mode and a Sling Adapter and I do not have this problem. Did your remote's address accidentally get changed?

Remote (watch on web) works ONLY with old slow router.

How to connect a 2nd receiver in my home ?
