Is there any different in quality between the Slingbox generations? I have the very first generation of the Slingbox (bought it when it first came out) .. and frankly the streaming quality sucks. Ive upgraded the software to no avail.

Anyone know if the new Slingbox hardware gives a better streaming experience or are they all basically the same?

Nope, just component with the HD adapter. The next version of the Slingbox HD is rumored to have HDMI and allow full HD to be streamed.

Uhh Slingbox Pro...the red one, which costs $229 has HDMI.....That came out a while ago.

Thats not an HDMI port (it does looks like one) however its for hooking up the Component Dongle to your Slingbox pro.

Argghhh.... I installed the 2.0 beta and it doesn't work as I'm sure some of the domains are blocked it is trying to hit. I'll have to see if I can find a copy of the older version. And before anyone says anything, we are allowed to listen to music during the day, actually encouraged to because of distractions. So I used to listen to a few different channels during the day.
