Slot on 322 receiver

I have the dish network 322 duel receiver and was wondering what the slot on the left side was for? The slot looks like it would fit a credit card.

at one point was used for Smartcards...

The 322 have a build in card on the board. When the new updated smart cards roll out I do believe they will be using those slots.

Thats the slot for the dagger on the duel models

the card slot on the "cardless" units hasn't been used unless someone stuck a card in it

Short of hacking it, no card has ever been used on a 322 is what I meant.

no card will be used until they do a card swap or you hack Dish Network and I hope none of ya'll do cause that would be a crime to take money out of Charlie's pocket to keep in your own
