At work we are doing some analysis of sites using web 2.0 capabilities, whilst doing this research we came across some sites i thought you might find interesting reading for your neighbourhood. A bit of fun anyway,

http://www.fundrace.org/neighbors.php
This site identifies in your area who contributed what to which political party.

http://www.zillow.com
This site allows you to see what your house is worth PLUS all your neighbors houses too.

http://www.zabasearch.com
This looks for info on you that is publicly available, pretty interesting information, to get the detailed stuff you have to pay.

http://allconsuming.net/
Not quite about neighbors but about what your net neighbors blogged about books.

Im sure others have equally interesting sites but just wanted to share this "fun" info.

frankly i found the whole amount of info available pretty scary but i knew it was there that's what makes identity theft so easy nowadays.
I know it's not quite that simple but it gets someone started and it's not a huge leap to go to the next level and reverse engineer more data about someone. Not that i would.

I discovered I had to be sent back in for rework. 4 different birth dates......

there is alot of incorrect info. that one site had everyone in my family linked to my grandmothers address. however, alot of neat stuff.

I must be safe...

First I tried Zabasearch for my name (a fairly common name) but it would only tell me there were too many results to list, even after entering birth year and city/state (but gave no other way to narrow it down any further)

Then tried Zallow, but it couldnt find my address or even my neighborhood.
