First I want to say I'm not asking for hacking help or anything like that. I just noticed a setting in my X2 V1 HD named key edit. I opened it and it had listed different encryption systems. Is there any legal reason for this feature and secondly when I looked in each option it seemed to be preloaded with keys already, should I delete the keys listed in there? Granted they seemed to be for sate's I'll never reach but I don't like the idea of having something possibly illegal intentional or not.

No I would just remove them or not use them.
