I live in Whitestone, NY , 25 minutes out of NYC, curious why I don't receive certain channels? For instance, Channel 637, Turner Sports South does not even show up on my channel map? I hit guide, all channels, ect, not there, subscribe to Americas top 250 and the regional sports pak, does anyone else live in this area and have the same issues?

funny thing is...

call dish costumer service told me I should be able to receive the channel because I sub to america 250/sportspak, they said it was a spotbeam issue, not where I live.

Fox Sports South is not on a spot beam, but it is only available to residents of the states mentioned by the Berg. It is NOT part of the sports pack. It has nothing to do with spot beams.

the question is? Why don't I receive it.
ok if you have the RSN Sports pack, the channel you are refering ot is CH 437..It is now called "Sports South"..It is the former "Turner South"....All subs who take the RSN Sports pack supposedly get all RSN's.

Did not know that. That's why in my post to the OP I was careful to write "Supposedly'..
