In order to resolve my antenna problems (Winegard 4400) I had to mount it pretty high on the roof. Can I spray paint this sucker to help blend it in?

To me it would seem that a flat brownish / gray (blend in with roof & branches) would be much better than super shiny silver.

Will this cause any problems with reception? Any one recommend a better color to paint it?

I can't imagine a thin coat of paint causing any deterioration of signal. If I were going to do this I would make sure it would be a paint that would stick to the metal used in the antenna.
I've wondered if I could get away with twining some vines, probably plastic ones, around a rooftop antenna to make it less noticeable. Doubt that it would affect performance but would like to conceal it from the HOs association.
