I have a stacked signal comming from one cable and a reciever with a built in destaker. I do not know the details of how it is stacked, just that it is. Ive read a few threads about stackers and destackers, but before I spend money i wanted some input. I'm not sure my exact setup yet, but these are my ideas with my proposed solution. Just wondering if I am correct

Add an additional reciever that also has a built in destacker- do I just need a normal splitter?

add a reciever without a destacker- normal spliter followed by a single tuner destacker going to reciever without built in destaker, and other line from splitter going into built in stakcer reciever

add a directv tivo (without stacker builtin) - same as above but just use a dual destaker to go to the tivo

please correct me or point me to
