star choice 505hd receiver clock

Hi guys. Finally have the new SC receiver from KUSAT in and installed.
Picture quality on most chanels is sharper than BEV. How can the clock
on the 505 be set for 12hour instead of 24 hour. There does not seem to be
an option for this. Also are the NFL ST games in HD? Thanks

You must have the old software in it. It will have to take the update download to have the option in the receiver setup menus.

If you go to the system status screen (Option-6-4-7) you'll see line H. Current Version. That's your current version. The current version for the 505 is 00.34.

If you see 00.34 on line I. Target Version then you're queued to receive the updated version from the satellite. If that is there then make sure your receiver is turned off at night until you receive it.

If your receiver is showing 00.00 on line I then your account has not yet been tagged for software update.

When you get the update you can change the clock under User Settings (Option-6-4-1). It's under Clock Format with the choices being AM/PM or 24 Hour.

No. All subs with Essentials and up (with or without NFL ST) will get in HD:
Sunday night game on NBC
Monday night ESPN game on TSN
8 NFL Network HD games on TSN
Fox/CBS games on Detroit and Seattle feeds
