I enjoyed it far more than Discovery and thought it got better with each episode. There was only one thing I didn't like, concerning Data, but other than that, I liked it...
Yeah. I like Sonequa Martin-Green. But we see way too much of her solving any/all problems, no matter how implausible her character (or the problem) might be. And all before TOS! Spore drive? Where in hell did that come from and why is it gone? TIme travel? You can pull an entire starship forward into time with a fancy spacesuit. Really? It's better than Discovery.
You don't mean Michael Burnham has the "Wesley Crusher Syndrome"?Yeah. I like Sonequa Martin-Green. It's worth watching for Jeri Ryan alone. But otherwise not as bad as many make it out to be. I don't know what people were expecting. I'll try to rewatch before season 2.
NO. They completely screwed it up.

I generally like time travel stories, as long as they don't drive me crazy with logical paradoxes. I may have to see Season 2 after all.
True! But since we're talking about ST, how about the Temporal Cold War explored in Enterprise? That series ended too soon, damn it.I see time travel as an overused plot device. I will watch anyway though.

No argument here. Tim Russ may have more Star Trek credits to his name. Armin Shimerman had three different roles on TNG in addition to Quark on DS9.Jeffrey Combs is still one of the best Star Trek actors by far. The way he played Weyoun on DS9 and then Shran on Enterprise. Now that was good acting.
Don't forget the Star Trek Section 31 supposed to come out sometime later this year!
Not necessarily. COVID delays have pushed production of all the ST shows. This article is now saying 2022 at the earliest. If they stick to a yearly release of Discovery, we might not see Section 31 until after season 5.Don't forget the Star Trek Section 31 supposed to come out sometime later this year!
