Every single day I have to reset my DSR500. Is anyone else out there experiencing this problem???

Are you turning it off every night to get the new 78 code? (Check current version in system status. After downloading, a hard boot (pull plug for at least 1 minute) may be required to flush the old code.

I always turn off unit every night allowing it to be in stand-by mode to accept updates. What is the latest current version??

what is the current version?

If you go through the system setup menu you'll eventually see a screen that will give you current version and target version of software. The current version should END in xxxx.78 (78 is the extension) and the target version should be 0 or none.
