Strange Problem

I am having an interesting issue right now...Mysteriously, all of a sudden a bunch of my SD channels (probably 50 or so) have been green-barred and it's telling me that it's a subscription channel (even though the ones with HD counterparts work fine) and it tries dialing customer support. However, this is only happening on my main floor 622 box, while the other 2 211's I have throughout the house work fine. I have tried doing a check switch and power cycling it - nada.

Ideas?????

Your 622 got zapped by a CSR by mistake ? I'd call in and see what they tell you but that's what all the SD channels look like on my 622 and I have HD Only.

With so many people changing programming in the last two days, anything is possible.

I got the problem resolved. I chatted with an unusually helpful CSR and he sent a "special signal" to the box and it resolved the issue. He said it had something to do with the box not being powered off for an extended period of time? That's a new one...

Sounds like an excuse offered instead of admitting someone accidently reprogrammed your receiver.

I get that every once in a while on my 622, typically it fixes itself within a day. Unless I need a channel that was green barred (or red barred) I just wait.
