Sunday 1/22/17 No Tucson Locals

Tucson locals for NBC, Fox, CBS & MyTV have been unavailable since approximately noon today. I have tried both Sat & OTA with the same result...no locals. It appears that Direct TV is having a similar problem. I called Dish tech support and got the automated message that they are aware of the problem.

Can anyone shed any additional light on this problem?

DIRECTV gets those signals over the air. They are having trouble at their tower getting the signal out. Thus is the reason why you are not getting it OTA or via satellite.

At 3:30 p.m., KOLD News 13 was back on the air for over-the-air viewers and subscribers to DISH Network and DirecTV.

KMSB Fox 11 is still being worked on but we expect for it to come back soon.

The problem began around 11 a.m. Sunday when power was lost at our transmitter site on Mount Bigelow and our generator failed to work.

We quickly dispatched a crew to the scene, but it takes several hours to get to the site.
