Wonder Woman is coming to Supergirl — soon! https://www.yahoo.com/celebrity/wonder-woman-coming-supergirl-soon-233820897.html
Wonder Woman may be coming to Supergirl.Following a screening of the upcoming The Flash- Supergirl crossover, executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti revealed they have plans to bring Lynda Carter to the CBS super series.“We had the perfect role for Lynda Carter,” Berlanti said of the Wonder Woman alum. “We couldn’t work out her schedule. Next year.”Interjected Kreisberg: “We’re going to do it, we’ll just do it next year,” which prompted Berlanti to reveal her potential role: “All right, she’s the female president of the United States.”While Supergirl has not yet been renewed for a second season, Carter’s appearance would follow guest roles by several other superhero alums; Lois and Clark star Dean Cain and Supergirl alum Helen Slater play Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) adoptive parents.

Supergirl Finale Photos: Alex and Hank Return (And So Does Eliza Danvers) http://tvline.com/2016/04/04/supergirl-season-1-finale-photos-alex-hank-return/
Supergirl‘s got the week off from protecting National City and its denizens, but to tide you over until the CBS drama’s return, we’ve got a fresh batch of photos from its Season 1 finale. There’s a whole lot to unpack from the April 18 snapshots, most notably the return of Alex and Hank from their fugitive lifestyle. Onetime Supergirl Helen Slater is also back as Kara’s adoptive mom, Eliza (though there’s currently no sign of Dean Cain as her maybe-alive dad, Jeremiah). And even though the Danvers clan is toasting to some good news in one photo, it doesn’t seem the season ender is entirely celebratory. Per the official logline, Supergirl is “forced to do battle with an unexpected foe… to prevent Non and Indigo from destroying every person on the planet” via their Myriad initiative, and the images below hint at quite a few tense moments.

WWE'S EVE TORRES DEBUTS AS MAXIMA IN NEW "SUPERGIRL" TEASER http://www.idigitaltimes.com/flash-...ibes-breach-open-zooms-origin-revealed-524730
Move over, Supergirl -- Maxima has arrived! In a new teaser for "Myriad," the next episode of "Supergirl," WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres makes her debut as Maxima. The teaser also highlights Supergirl's biggest challenge yet: Myriad. With some unlikely help from Cat and Maxwell Lord, she'll have to go up against Non and his army of brainwashed human victims.

The Unexpected Way Superman Just Showed Up On Supergirl http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Unexpected-Way-Superman-Just-Showed-Up-Supergirl-130617.html
The episode’s title refers to the ridiculously effective master plan put into play by the evil Non, which allows him to control the brains and actions of basically anyone he wants, and he definitely wants to control a LOT of people’s minds. The far-reaching scale of Non’s powers was more than enough justification for Kara to want help from someone outside of National City, with her super-cousin Clark as the obvious perfect option. And after he sent her a super-text saying that he was currently heading over, she saw him flying in…but not to actually save the day or do anything good. He landed in the midst of everyone who was being controlled by Non, having also fallen under Myriad’s sway. As Max explains, Superman’s time on Earth definitely doesn’t help him in this situation, as that’s exactly what made Myriad so effective in taking him over. Now, we don’t get to see Superman doing anything drastically awful in the name of Non, but that one little moment could set up some pretty interesting ramifications for the DC TV universe. Not that we expect Superman to become a major character on any of these shows anytime soon, but it’s pretty crazy that this episode was a broad strokes blueprint for how to use him to do one’s evil bidding, meaning any of his other enemies could just “borrow” the Myriad approach to turn Metropolis into a demolished ghost town. http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Unexpected-Way-Superman-Just-Showed-Up-Supergirl-130617.html

Supergirl boss on that shocking arrival — and what's next!...Andrew Kreisberg: 'You're just going to see a more confident, stronger Supergirl' in season 2http://www.ew.com/article/2016/04/18/supergirl-finale-season-2-spoilers
Warning: This story contains major spoilers from the season 1 finale of Supergirl. Read at your own risk!Supergirl lost nearly every connection to Krypton over the course of the first season, but she may have found a new one with the arrival of a mysterious pod during Monday’s Supergirl finale. After facing off against her mind-controlled sister Alex (Chyler Leigh), and freeing National City’s residents from Myriad with a rousing and hopeful speech, Kara (Melissa Benoist) went up against Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) with the help of Hank (David Harewood). To prevent the villains from killing every human on Earth, Kara needed to fly Fort Rozz into space, which was effectively a suicide mission, forcing her to bid farewell to her friends and family. But an eleventh hour save from Alex in Kara’s Kryptonian space pod provided a happy ending for all — until an identical pod arrived. Who’s in the pod?! EW caught up with executive producer Andrew Kreisberg to find out what’s next:

Supergirl finale recap and entire season review.....This superhero is perpetually vulnerable and lost http://www.polygon.com/2016/4/19/11459592/supergirl-finale-recap-and-entire-season-review
The most powerful good characters in this show are Supergirl, her boss Cat Grant, her crime-fighting sister, a black man who runs a government agency. They are all unsure of their own place in the world, under attack, over-compensating. They represent the possibility of change through self-doubt.Most superheroes stand tall at the center of their tales. But Supergirl is lost, fighting her way through the crowd. The scene when she saves the world is given as much weight as the following scene when Cat Grant gives Cara her own office, and an 'atagirl'. Cara is made up. She finally has her own space, a magnolia little office, a tiny slice of hierarchical recognition. It's difficult to imagine the big boy superheroes getting excited about anything outside their own titanic battles.Supergirl is a story about a character who is uncomfortable with her own power, who fits saving the world in between grabbing a latte for her boss. She's vulnerable and it's this that makes her interesting. There's a lot more to this show than costumes and capes.

WHO (OR WHAT) IS "SUPERGIRL'S" SEASON-ENDING MYSTERY? http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/who-or-what-is-supergirls-season-ending-mystery
As they did with "Arrow" and "The Flash," the producers of "Supergirl" spent much of the CBS show's first season introducing a number of eclectic and esoteric elements from across the DC Universe. Starting with Vartox in the pilot episode, viewers got to see TV versions of super-people like the Master Jailer, Red Tornado, Martian Manhunter and Maxima. While a second season has yet to be announced formally, odds are good it will include even more familiar characters. A trip to Project Cadmus seems pretty definite, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Guardian, President Lynda Carter, and/or Streaky the Super-Cat along the way.And yet, none of those seem to be teased by the final shot of Season One -- which, it must be said, doesn't have much to do with the rest of the episode. If you didn't get the warning up top, this is your last chance to avoid spoilers.Season One ends with the arrival of yet another compact Kryptonian spaceship -- yes, like the ones which brought the El cousins to Earth -- landing right in the middle of National City. Supergirl and J'Onn J'Onzz investigate, and the Girl of Steel is shocked to discover whomever (or whatever) the pod is carrying. While we don't see what she does, certainly it seems like the pod's cargo has to be Kryptonian, or at least closely related thereto. Here, then, are my picks for who -- or what -- might be inside:

Supergirl -No Time For Love In ‘Bizarro’ https://www.yahoo.com/news/supergirl-recap-no-time-for-love-in-bizarro-104705353.html
Like the last time, Kara and Adam’s date goes off with a great start - they even kiss! But things very quickly turn sour when Bizarro literally whisks Kara away - yes, Kara, not Supergirl. They have a laser-eyes battle before Kara tries to talk her down but it ends up in more fighting. The DEO arrive and Alex shoots Bizarro with Kryptonite; her skin begins to degrade showing who she really is. Later, Kara realises that Maxwell knows about Supergirl’s real identity because Bizarro came after Kara, not Supergirl. Hank explains that Bizarro is a mirror image of Supergirl and the Kryptonite makes her stronger. Kara visits to Adam, who’s been worried about where she had gone. Kara breaks up with him before they’ve even properly started dating because its easier to deal with her two lives without a distraction. So being a superhero wins over love. Alex storms Maxwell’s offices and arrests him. He’s taken to the DEO and locked up. Hank tells Alex off for acting so rashly but Alex says she couldn’t stand Maxwell threatening her family. Bizarro then kidnaps James; he manages to warn Supergirl using the handy SOS alarm hidden in his watch and she arrives on the scene. They have another fight while Alex turns up at the scene armed with an ion-charged gun. She can’t get a clean shot but Kara tells her to fire anyway and she hits Bizarro, who’s later taken back to the DEO. Kara wants to help Bizarro because it’s not her fault and feels guilt when they put her down. This scene highlights who the real enemy is and shows Kara’s determination to go after him - Maxwell Lord.
Other points:
Kara blushes over a text from Adam; James and Winn immediately feel awkward.
While drowning their sorrows in alcohol, Winn convinces James to tell Kara how he really feels about her.
As Adam leaves National City, Cat sets the boundaries for her relationship with Kara back to boss/employee.

I thought Supergirl was okay for 1st season but still no match for Gotham imo but look at how slow Gotham started out and has gotten a lot better since and let's hope they do the same with Supergirl

I know that in the comics they are in the same universe but Gotham City is a totally different place than Metropolis or Natioanl City. Other than in the late 50s through the sixties Batman has inhabited a much darker world than the other DC heroes. You can't compare the characters or the series about them.

I was comparing the shows not the sane way you are

I still have a handful of episodes to watch. Not bad, just not the top of my watching priority list. Will likely be the only show on CW I record.

Glad they kept it but don't understand the reasoning if they move it to the CW how will that be cheaper.

I think that the reasoning is that they are going to make it cheaper (No Calista Flockahart salary, filming in Vancouver etc.) an that a show like that winds up on the CW.

It is news to me if she is returning. But, in any event, I think the ratings were both disappointing and declining and it got a budget cur and a "Demotion" to the CW.
